Dr. Alexander Gebele, LL.M. (San Diego)

Alexander Gebele, born 1973, studied law at the Universities of Bonn, Geneva and San Diego. In 1998, he passed the first state examination, in 1999, the Master of Laws (University of San Diego, USA). In 2000, he was admitted to the bar in New York, USA. In 2002, Alexander Gebele was awarded his doctorate on the basis of a thesis on international private law at University of Bonn. In 2003, he completed the second state examination following his legal training in Hamburg with posts in New York, Sydney and Frankfurt am Main. From 2003 until 2007, he worked as a lawyer in an international law firm in Frankfurt am Main and in London.

Alexander Gebele has been a candidate notary in Hamburg from 2007 until 2010 and has been appointed a notary as from June 1, 2010. He is a lecturer at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre. Alexander Gebele is co-publisher of Beck’sches Formularbuch Bürgerliches, Handels- und Gesellschaftsrecht and has authored various legal publications.

His main focus lies on real estate and company law, including notarial assistance with complex transactions, frequently involving cross-border matters.
